WHAT WE DO

KAM PROFESSIONAL PREVENTIVE CORONAVIRUS DISINFECTION SERVICES

Our certified preventive disinfection process includes the use of electrostatic sprayer for prevention & disease control. We apply EPA List N approved non-toxic disinfectant chemicals on all high touch surfaces. Preventive periodic disinfection for disease prevention is conducted after regular cleaning when there is no evidence of confirmed pathogens. Our preventive disinfection services may include the application of a long-lasting biostatic surface protectant that continues to kill the virus for 30 days on high touch surfaces and up to 90 days on other surfaces.

KAM CERTIFIED CORONAVIRUS INCIDENT SPECIFIC DISINFECTION SERVICES

This is to be used for any areas with confirmed pathogen cases. With our incident specific disinfection, we will remove contaminants before disinfection and use a process that uses EPA List N approved disinfecting spray to effectively neutralize a wide range of bacterial, viral, and fungal contaminants, followed by the use of electrostatic sprayer to apply EPA List N approved non toxic disinfectant chemicals on all high touch surfaces. We recommend the use of our long-lasting biostatic surface protectant that continues to kill the virus for 30 days on high touch surfaces and up to 90 days on other surfaces.

CORONAVIRUS

Coronavirus is the name of the virus, COVID-19 is the name of the disease. Formerly this disease was referred to as the 2019 Novel Coronavirus or 2019-nCoV. There are many types of human Coronaviruses some that commonly cause upper respiratory tract illness. COVID-19 is a new disease. It has been around in recent years in different forms such as Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS, in 2002). COVID-19 is called novel (or new) because it has not previously been seen in humans. Although the virus that causes COVID-19 and the one that caused the outbreak of SARS are related to each other genetically, the diseases they cause are quite different. COVID-19 causes more severe disease than seasonal influenza. The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the outbreak a global pandemic.

FOUR MAJOR ROUTES OF TRANSMISSION OF VIRUS

  1. Hands (Direct Transmission – Person to Person; Indirect Transmission – through a person touching an object with the virus).

  2. Face Exposure (Touching the virus then touching your mouth, eyes, or nose).

  3. Droplet (Infected person coughing or sneezing on a surface and later that surface being touched).

  4. Airborne (Coughing or sneeze droplets still in air being breathed in by another person).

Tests show that Coronavirus can live on some surfaces for up to 3 days or more
